Dental Insurance




KRH provides full-time employees with employee-only coverage. Family coverage is available at the employee’s expense.

    Part of Cafeteria 125 Plan, Supplemental Medical Coverage is available to fill in the gap between sick leave and long-term disability.

    Long-Term Disability




    KRH provides, at no cost to the employee, a long-term disability benefit equal to 60% of your monthly base pay if you become totally disabled, as per plan definition, due to sickness or injury.

    Life Insurance




    The Hospital provides each full-time non-exempt employee with a $10,000 policy, and a $20,000 policy for exempt staff. This is provided at no cost to the employee.

    Tax Deferred Annuities




    Federal and State taxes are deferred until funds are withdrawn. This benefit is paid for through payroll deduction.

    Cafeteria 125 Plan




    Pre-tax monies taken are used for paying qualified, elected benefits. Social Security taxes are exempt. Required participation for all employees participating in family plan of health, dental, & vision insurance.

    Dependent Care Spending Account




    Through the Cafeteria 125 Plan, you may “payroll deduct” up to $5,000 per plan year for child care expenses. Social Security tax is exempt.
































    Health Care Spending Account




    As part of the Cafeteria 125 Plan, employees may “payroll deduct” up to $1500 per plan year for non-reimbursed medical expenses. As eligible healthcare expenses are incurred, you are reimbursed from your account with tax-free dollars.
































    Pension 401 (k) Retirement Plan




    Hospital contributes 1% of your pay to hospital pension and profit-sharing plan. Plan participants may contribute from 1-92% each plan year. KRH matches 100% of the 1st 2% and 50% of the next 4% of pay the employee contributes.

    Eligible Employees: Full-time employees, 21+ years old, who have completed 1 hour of service by July 1st. Employer match begins after 1 year and 1,000 hours minimum.

    Vesting: 25% after 2 years, 50% after 3 years, 75% after 4 years, 100% after 5 years.

    Weight Loss Program




    Hospital-based Weight Watchers 15-week program for employees and employees' immediate family. KRH contributes one-half of corporate rate for employee’s first 15-week enrollment.

    Health Screenings




    Employees may volunteer to participate in health evaluations for blood pressure, weight, height, and a variety of blood tests such as glucose, cholesterol, and thyroid. Screenings are conducted annually at no cost to the employee. Additional blood tests available at nominal fee.
































    Fitness Center




    Employee-only access to health and fitness equipment in Rehabilitation Services. Specified weekdays and times apply. No cost to employee.

    Smoking Cessation Program




    On-site program provided for employee and members of employees' immediate family at no cost to employees. Offered at varying times of the year.

    Employee Assistance Program




    Professional, confidential guidance and counseling in such areas as relationship problems, depression or anxiety, child and elder care, legal issues, financial issues, and alcohol and other drug problems. No cost to employee.
