Denise Owen, RN, Linda Schemmer, RN, Amber Huckins, RN and Marla Ogilvie, RN receives award for “Clinical Ladder of Excellence”. This year long program is for full time, direct patient care registered nurses and licensed practical nurses working at Kingfisher Regional Hospital. At the end of the program, this elite group of nurses must demonstrate clinical excellence, dedication to patient/ family/ co-worker satisfaction and must be able to show recognition to their commitment to the nursing profession through a clinical passport. Kingfisher Regional Hospital nurses apply annually and must meet a rigorous curriculum developed by KRH Clinical Administration. Nurses may participate in either levels II, III or IV of the clinical ladder of excellence program. This is the second year for Owen and Schemmer and the first year for Huckins and Ogilvie to participate.

“This is our second year of the program for the hospital,” states Bobby Stitt, chief nursing officer. We are extremely proud of all four of our nurses for accomplishing their goals in this comprehensive program. We believe their strive for excellence will have a tremendous impact and benefit for our patients and our community.”
